Use your own laptop

Net logon outlets are to be found by the balcony parapets on the 1st and 2nd floors of the library as well as close to the balcony in the journals section. In addition, there are sockets on the mezzanine above the reception area (in the passageway towards the Linguistics Building). You cannot plug in your computer in the reading rooms. Students can connect their own laptop computers to the net logon outlets.

If you want to work on your own laptop, a wireless network is available within SOL. This works in the main lobby, the lobby of the Absalon Building and in the library’s open floor areas. If you want to connect your computer via a cable, you can do so on the mezzanine (up the stairs from the reception), as well as on all the inner balconies of the Library Building. To log in on any computer within SOL you will need your StiL identity!
